My take is you go for a medium class. Usually you will get an upgrade to lower luxury, and at least for me, it is way more than enough and you save the extra mmoney top luxury tours are charged in excess. Hope this helps!
Definitely a memorable experience surrounded by the view of karst, kayaking, jumping off the junk and spending a crazy night with other travelers

It is indeed a beautiful place…one of my favourite tours in the world
