Photo of the week: Segesta

| May 12, 2010 | 4 Comments

The ruins of Segesta are among the best conserved in all the island, hopefully thanks to the small fee payable at entrance (it is not difficult to see them without paying though). Getting there is rather easy if you’re driving, but there are tour operators that will take you there are as well if you don’t have your own transportation. The ruins are easily visited in less than an hour, thus many travelers find their way to Selinunte in the South for more lessons on history.

I have always wanted to visit this ruins. I have watched so much about it on Discovery and History channel. I do hope I get an early vacation this year so I can take my family as well.
