Was so, so crowded at the dock that I thought the boats would be all over each other, but ended up being a lovely and peaceful few days.

It’s funny how we did something similar. We did lie on the roof to watch the stars before going to sleep, and Sapa was our favourite place in Vietnam too!

We took a tip from another girl we met in Vietnam and slept on the roof of the boat under the stars. I found Halong Bay overly crowded with boats at first but once away from the packed caves, I thought it was so beautiful! (And Sapa was my favorite place in Vietnam!) Glad you had fun 🙂
