Oman is such a relaxed country and as you say the best way is to visit by car. From Muscat to the mountains to the turtles by the coast, the country is stunning.

Great post. I was just in Oman last year, and thought it was a really unique place. Some parts of Muscat were almost Disney-like in their perfection, but the landscapes were beautiful, and I really enjoyed watching the baby turtles on the beaches in the south.

With what’s going on now in Oman’s neighbor countries, it’s great to hear that Oman doesn’t have the same challenges (I really hope so). Based on the photos, their country is a beauty.
