Travel Tips

Finding a place like this is not as difficult- or expensive- as you might think.

Finding a place like this is not as difficult– or expensive– as you might think.

Many of you will probably believe-and rightfully so– that travelling is quite easy nowadays: just book a train, bus or air ticket, make a hotel reservation online or through your preffered travel agent, pack and go. As simple as that. But what if you don’t want to overpay your air ticket? Or you don’t want a fixed schedule or itinerary? What if you’re travelling independently– perhaps, probably backpacking– and maybe for a long time?

There are many factors to be considered when travelling solo, particularly when on a tight budget: Where can you find the cheapest flight? What backpack should you get? What should you carry, and what not? For answers to these questions and many others vist my travel tips pages where you will find information about:

  • Choosing the right backpack
  • Top 10 items you must carry when travelling independently
  • Visas: do you need one?
  • The best online travel search engines
  • Low Cost Airliness: the backpacker’s number one choice.
  • RTW and multi stop flights

Having visited 60+ countries I have hands on experience on how to travel on a budget, and by sharing it with you I will save you time, effort, and of course your hard earned money. Still, if once you have finished reading the section questions remain unanswered or there’s a topic you think I should include please email me. Happy travels!
