Located in the popular resort town of Torremolinos in Spain’s Costa del Sol , 3 star hotel Natursun sits on hill in Carihuela Beach, right along the main seaside road that crosses this medium sized town. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach, has several restaurants to choose from within walking distance as well as some tapas bars and perhaps best of all is easily reachable from the airport by train and a three minute walk- the trip doesn’t last more than 20 minutes.
The hotel has a minimalist modern style, with enough space in the rooms for guests to walk around without having to hide the luggage in a closet to allow for more. All rooms that face the ocean have spectacular views you can enjoy from the balcony, particularly during the morning as you see the sun rise above the ocean. Impeccably clean, with huge comfortable beds, TV, AC and heater and plenty of sockets for all your gadgets.
Newly built in 2012 this budget hotel in Torremolinos has all the services and amenities you’d like to have yet sometimes don’t in other more expensive hotels including free WIFI, restaurant (no bar though, but there is a vending machine), solarium, salt water swimming pool, sundeck and other amenities. I must say as well that the staff, albeit small, is more than capable of managing it all and is extremely friendly and willing to help guests during their stay, including organizing day trips or arranging car rentals and more. They all speak English. The restaurant offers breakfast , lunch and dinner buffet style, is well priced and offers a great assortment of food. I did not have lunch, but did enjoy breakfast the two nights I spent there helping myself with fruit, cereal, ham, toast, some bakery, coffee…and there was more to choose from.
Hotel Natursun is a budget hotel in Torremolinos that caters for all kinds of travelers looking for a great place to stay in at a very affordable price, ranging between 35-55 € for the room without/ with breakfast and depending on the season. Without a doubt this has been one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in anywhere.

I am a big time foodie. Therefore, I just loved the buffet breakfast you just mentioned about in your post. I mean with so much of variety to have in breakfast, which is the first and an important meal of the day, I really appreciate the hotel.
Interesting to learn that what were considered to be “tired resorts of yester-year” on the Costa del Sol are having new facilities built with everything that todays holiday makers expect. Perfect for UK travellers that take advantage of the larger number of budget flights available to Malaga.
