Visiting Oahu (Hawaii) in a Day (Video)

If you don’t have much time to visit Oahu or simply want to get an overview of the island with your family without having to drive there are several day tours that will suit this purpose, and although long and comprehensive they definitely suit this purpose. We were luck enough to join the Grand Circle Island Tour with Polynesian Adventures (of which I wrote a post already here), and although we did have several days to explore Oahu at out pace the tour took us to spots we had missed. Perhaps the best value of the tour lies in the continuous explanations of the drivers (Koko in our case) which, without a doubt, bring a meaning and amusement to everything you see.

We were invited by Polynesian Adventures on this tour, however the filming, explanations and opinions in both the video and the article remain, as always, my own.

  1. What a breathtaking place. I want to visit that place. You can find peace on that place. Thanks for the video.

  2. Well, Hawaii is always a destination where one can just enjoy life in a superb manner always! The lush green beauty, filled with some beauty scenery all around makes someone fall in love with the place! I remember my trip in 2010 with my wife! It was ecstatic!

  3. I feel that if you don’t drive to the north shore you missed some of the most beautiful beaches and views of Oahu, Hawaii. We rented a car and drove around to the North Shore both times, we had to go back after seeing it the first time. This time we spent time at all the beautiful locations we had just stopped at along our way around the island the first time. It seemed we just dreamed of what it would be like to get to live it the area. It seemed every few miles the beach had a different scenery that made you stop. The water was amazing it was so clear it seemed like drinking water. The color and the rocks in some area’s were just something everyone who visits needs to see. I never felt like I was in Hawaii until we saw what was outside of the touristy area we were in on Waikiki beach. I’d love to stay on this side for a few nights, can’t wait to go back.

    1. Oh I did, and I agree with you. Something you can only do this way is swimming with turtles in Turtle Bay, at no cost, always a treat. And you know what? I can’t wait to go back either 🙂
